What's the Opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Gymnastics Director to join our team at Y Leisure City in Epping. This role would be a perfect step up for a 2IC Gymnastics Team Leader/Coach.
In this role, you will provide proactive leadership in growing and developing our established high-quality gymnastics program. This includes managing the day-to-day operations, as well as leading and mentoring a team of gymnastics coaches.
Some of your key duties will include:
Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans for the program.
Oversee the day-to-day operations and delivery of a high-quality gymnastics program.
Provide supervision, leadership and training to gymnastics coaches.
Develop gymnastics timetables that support members' needs.
Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, including responding immediately to customer needs and concerns.
Conduct budget preparation and manage the program budget.
Some service delivery acting as a shift supervisor for Y Leisure City.
Undertake coaching duties when required, providing a positive member experience.
This is a full-time role that requires some flexibility to work over 7 days and includes some evening and weekend work. Extensive gymnastics coaching experience, with knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety guidelines and coaching methodologies.
Strong leadership capabilities with a passion for leading and developing staff.
Experience in managing budgets and revenue is highly desirable, but not essential.
Current Employee Working with Children Check and National Police Check less than 6 months old (or ability to obtain before commencement).
International police check if you have lived or worked outside Australia more than 3 months in the last 5 years.
Nationally recognised First Aid and CPR qualifications.
