The Director of Sport is responsible for strategic realisation and operational leadership of the College sports programme, ensuring effective delivery of quality programs across interschool and competitions, sports carnivals, sports events and Somerset sports club and academy programs. This position reports to the Dean of Activities.

YOU WILL
- Lead and develop a comprehensive sports program across the College
- Oversee operational management across competitive and recreational sport
- Lead a high performing team and interschool, club and academy programs
- Action strategies to evaluate and enhance participation and athlete performance
- Foster strong relationships with the College community and external stakeholders
- Proactively manage a risk-averse operation and foster a positive sports culture

- Strong experience leading competitive school and high-performance sport
- Multidisciplinary experience managing human, financial and physical resources
- Aptitude to build and deliver strategic and operational plans
- Technical expertise in sports with sporting body and athletic pathway knowledge
- Ability to effectively work with students, colleagues and the community
- Dedication to integrity, reliability, sound judgement, service and risk adversity
- Qualifications in Exercise Science, Sports Management or a relevant equivalent
- Teacher registration or Working with Children blue card and First Aid certification
- Physically fit to participate in manual tasks and a dynamic sports environment
