About the role

We are now looking for a Competitive Play Coordinator - North/East to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the administration and coordination of centrally managed leagues and Tennis SA Competitions
  • Collaborating with the Competitive Play Manager - North/East to ensure a calendar of Tennis SA Events are delivered in the North/East region of SA
  • Developing and administering the Tournament Calendar for Tennis Australia-endorsed events
  • Providing support in the planning and delivery of Tennis SA events, including Les Tapp, ITF Juniors, Pro Tour, and other events as required
  • Providing education and training to Association and Clubs on the use of League Manager / Match Centre
  • Working closely with relevant stakeholders in the development of Modified Ball opportunities

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field are highly regarded
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, including in public speaking settings
  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with databases
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis SA
