About the role
We now looking for a Competitive Play Projects Lead to join our team and a permanent, full-time basis. This role will support the Tennis NSW Vision 2030 strategy by helping to grow initiatives and participation across the competitive play landscape in tennis across NSW.
In this role you will:
- Build strong relationships with tournament and competition stakeholders, providing resources, education, and support to enhance delivery outcomes
- Lead the rollout of the Competition Workforce Strategy and oversee the NSW Competitive Play Calendar and sanctioning process
- Collaborate with Tennis Australia's National Talent Development team to help identify emerging NSW talent and connect them to national pathways
- Support the development of a Competitive Play data management and insights hub to drive evidence-based planning and impact
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships across clubs, coaches and officials
- Excellent project coordination and organisational skills, with experience managing calendars, timelines, and competing priorities
- Confident and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences
- Solid understanding of the tennis landscape and the key stakeholders involved at local, state, and national levels
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NSW
