Hills Grammar is seeking a passionate and proactive Netball Coordinator to lead the strategic and operational delivery of our vibrant netball program. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to youth sport and community engagement in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Appoint coaches and managers to all teams.
- Coordinate training schedules and facilitate bookings and training venues.
- Coordinate Coaches/Managers meetings and preparation of kits and training materials for each team.
- Review and amend Netball Handbook to include all rules and guidelines for club members.
- Attend Baulkham Hills Netball Association meetings held at the courts (Council meetings).
- Coordinate online registration via PlayHQ (registration system).
- Organise and conduct any grading days required.
- Collate Netball items for school publications.
- Coordinate team photos.
- Organise club presentation.
- Oversee management of club finances Head of Sport.
- Order necessary match and training equipment.
- Organise coaching courses if needed.
- Liase with umpire convenor to ensure we have enough umpires to cover club games.
- Attend Saturday netball fixtures.
- Share important information on club Facebook page.
- Coordinate individuals to attend HZSA representative trials.
- Coordinate teams, coaches & umpires for Hills Zone Sports Association Competitions.
Junior School - during stage sport time
Senior School - Monday afternoon (Year 7, Intermediate and Senior)
- Assist with HZSA selections if needed.
- Manage or coach a HZSA team if interested.
- Planning and delivery of the junior school “netball block”.
- Complete and assist with additional tasks as identified or delegated throughout the year.
Selection Criteria - Essential
- Proven experience in sports coordination or club management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team and stakeholder engagement.
- A genuine passion for youth sport and community development.
