The Role
The Sports Cocrdinator will have the responsibility of the efficient and effective operation of three (3) to four (4) designated sporting programs from Prep to Year 12 at St Aidan’s.
A key focus of this role will be the coordination and development of our Netball Program, including interschool and Club Netball. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in managing interschool-level and club-level netball operations, who can bring energy, structure and vision to this important area of our co-curricular offering.
This position offers flexible work arrangements of 38 hours per week, during term time, that is dependent upon specific sport program’s training sessions, fixtures and school holiday training (if required).
The position requires 38 hours per week during school term time, along with 5 additional weeks across the school holidays, equating to 43 weeks per year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the coordination of 3-4 designated sports programs (Prep–Year 12), with a particular focus on Netball.
- Support the Head of Sport in delivering a high-quality, inclusive sports program.
- Assist the Head of Sport to engage coaches with the necessary skills, qualifications, and experience to assist with the delivery of the sport program.
- Manage sporting facilities, equipment, and uniforms to ensure readiness and safety.

Qualifications and Expertise
- Proven experience in sports administration or logistics coordination.
- Strong background in Netball coordination is essential.
- Coaching qualifications or experience in coaching school-aged athletes (highly desirable).
- Experience in an all-girls’ school setting (desirable).
- Current Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR certification.
