The Box Hill Action Indoor Sports Centre is one of the largest of its kind in Australia and is in its fortieth year of operation. We offer competitions for Indoor Cricket, Netball, Futsal and Volleyball all year round on weeknights and weekends. We also cater for schools and other groups during weekdays and children’s birthday parties on weekends. With the aid of computerised competition management and numerous marketing initiatives, we pride ourselves on operating the business in a thoroughly professional manner and require staff of the highest calibre to meet this end.

This position requires involvement in all our activities, with particular emphasis on our Indoor Cricket and Futsal (Indoor Soccer) programs. You will be responsible for competition administration, umpire/referee recruitment and training, and also assist in marketing, in-house promotions, grading, fixturing, customer liaison and the management of some evening and weekend shifts.

The successful applicant will be motivated to succeed in business, possess an analytical approach to decision-making, and have the ability to communicate effectively with patrons and staff.  In addition, strong administrative skills, some commercial retail experience and a background involving some of our sports would be advantageous.

An induction/probation period would commence in January 2026.

It may be possible to work part-time for an interim period to allow completion of studies.
