This hands-on General Manager role owns financial performance, customer experience, growth, and culture, supported by the coaching leadership team overseeing coach recruitment and training.

THE ROLE
This is a senior on-site leadership role with full P&L accountability.
You are responsible for revenue, costs, profitability, customer experience, operational performance, and long-term sustainability of the swim school.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full responsibility for revenue, costs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability
- Optimise enrolments, pricing, staffing, and class utilisation
- Lead customer experience and retention
- Lead a customer service team of 4-6 people
- Lead a marketing manager and agency
- Recruit and manage non-coaching staff
- Oversee operations, safety, compliance, and facilities
- Drive continuous improvement and support expansion
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
- Reports to the Managing Director / Owner
- Collaborates closely with:
- Coaching & People Resources Managers
- Facilities team
External:
- Families and swimmers
- Community and event partners
- Vendors and suppliers
- Potential strategic partners to support revenue growth
AUSTRALIAN SWIMMING EXPERIENCE (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Experience in Australian-style swim schools or programmes
- Strong understanding of Australian learn-to-swim culture and parent expectations
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- Salary up to SGD 9,000 per month (approx. AUD 120k p.a.) + bonus
- Flight & visa provided
- Two weeks accommodation provided
- 5-day work week (weekends required)
