West Ryde Multi-Sports Facility is a modern, joint-use venue located at 22 Winbourne St, West Ryde, built on the former Marsden High School site.
The centre will provide quality leisure, sport, health and wellbeing opportunities for schools, residents, organisations, businesses and visitors across West Ryde and neighbouring suburbs.

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate, well-organised and self-motivated leader to join our team as a Sports Competition Coordinator. In this role, you will take ownership of developing and delivering our sports competitions end-to-end - ensuring great experiences, strong community engagement and competitions that run smoothly, safely and on time.
You will help maximise participation, build programs that attract and retain players, and be a key point of contact within the stadium environment. This is your chance to make the role your own and help shape a thriving sports community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver and grow local sports competitions, including scheduling, rules, game-day/night operations and customer communication.
- Encourage maximum participation and ensure competitions meet business plan objectives.
- Support the development of new and existing sporting programs.
- Lead and engage staff, supporting on-court supervision and smooth competition delivery.
What You’ll Bring

- Experience in community recreation
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Knowledge of multiple sports (e.g. netball, soccer, basketball)
- Formal qualifications in a sport or coaching discipline
- CPR + First Aid certification
