Rowing Australia is seeking a proactive and capable Media & Communications Manager to lead the organisation’s media and communications activity.
This role is responsible for translating organisational priorities into a clear and actionable strategy, ensuring their effective delivery across Rowing Australia’s channels and platforms.
The Media & Communications Manager plays a central role in shaping and executing Rowing Australia’s communications agenda. It is a hands-on role with genuine strategic responsibility, overseeing media engagement, content creation, campaign delivery and marketing planning across the organisation, including for Rowing Australia’s national events.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of the communications space. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership while independently driving planning, coordination and delivery across multiple internal and external stakeholders and partners.
The role reports to the GM Commercial and is responsible for day-to-day communications activity and manages a small team, including a full-time Digital Content Lead and a network of external contractors across photography, journalism and graphic design.
