Description

Ready to inspire confidence, safety, and a lifelong love of the water? We’re on the lookout for energetic, reliable, and committed Swim Instructors to join our incredible team at the iconic Harold Holt Swim Centre – a fully accessible, community-focused aquatic facility in Glen Iris.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering high quality, safe and effective Learn to Swim and Water Safety Programs to children and adults. You will enjoy working with people of all ages and be passionate about achieving positive outcomes. This is your chance to be part of something truly rewarding!

The hourly rate is $35.30 per hour + 12% superannuation. 

 To thrive in this role you'll need:

  • Aquatic industry recognized qualification - Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM, Life Saving Victoria or ASCTA)
  • CPR certificate
  • Employee Working with Children Check
  • Knowledge of (and preferably experience) in Learn to Swim programs, stroke techniques and water safety
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

Previous experience is preferred, but if you’re newly qualified and ready to dive into your swim teaching career - we’d love to hear from you!
