Overview:

The Community and Events Coordinator will support the Macarthur Bulls FC’s community initiatives, including hands-on involvement in the Bulls in Schools program and Bulls Free Holiday Clinics. This role will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of community events, working closely with local clubs, schools, and associations to increase the club’s reach and impact in a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Programs & Delivery

  • Coordinate the Bulls in Schools and Bulls Free Holiday Clinics, ensuring consistently high-quality experiences for participants.
  • Assist with budget tracking and administrative documentation including attendance records, reporting spreadsheets, and grant compliance materials.
  • Manage inbound enquiries from parents, schools, and community members with timely, professional responses that reflect the club’s values.

Coaches & People

  • Support the Head of Community in scheduling and managing a pool of coaches, ensuring alignment with club and program standards.
  • Support the onboarding and induction of new coaches and casual staff, ensuring all compliance requirements are met before their first engagement.
  • Coordinate and manage volunteers across programs and events.

Partnerships & Community

  • Build and maintain relationships with local football clubs, schools, and associations to foster long-term community partnerships.
  • Liaise with the football department to coordinate player appearances at community events, school visits, and activations.
  • Manage inbound enquiries relating to donations, jersey requests, and ticket giveaways in line with club guidelines.

Content & Logistics

  • Support content capture at community events, including photography and social media assets, in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Assist in the procurement and management of equipment, uniforms, merchandise, and supplies for program and event delivery.
  • Collaborate with marketing and consumer business teams to optimise the participant experience across community programs and events.

About You:

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Bring experience in community engagement, event coordination, or program delivery, ideally in sport or recreation. Familiarity with schools, local grassroots clubs, or delivering programs is a bonus.
  • Are exceptionally organised and comfortable juggling competing priorities across multiple programs, people, and deadlines at once.
  • Communicate with warmth and adapt naturally to different audiences, from primary school kids and parents through to coaches and football administrators.
  • Are proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work independently and resolve issues without unnecessary escalation.
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for football and community sport.

Benefits:

  • The opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing A-League club making a genuine difference in one of NSW’s fastest-growing communities.
  • A collaborative, passionate team environment with real room to grow as the club grows.
