ABOUT BASEBALL SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Baseball South Australia (BSA) is the state governing body for baseball in South Australia, responsible for developing and delivering the sport from grassroots participation through to elite competition. BSA supports a network of Member Clubs, coordinates state representative programs, and works in partnership with Baseball Australia to grow and strengthen the game across the state.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Baseball SA is seeking an organised, proactive, and passionate individual to fill the newly created role of Officiating Officer. The part-time position, two days per week, sits within the BSA operations team and is responsible for supporting and coordinating key aspects of umpire administration across Baseball SA, from recruitment and development through to game-day appointments and payments.
The Officiating Officer works closely with the State Umpiring Director, a defined volunteer role within BSA, and reports directly to the Director of Operations. This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone who understands the umpiring environment, is comfortable managing multiple stakeholder relationships, and can keep administrative processes running reliably throughout the season.
