Super Sports Australia provides unique opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to participate in sports activities mainly Futsal and Pickleball, with more sports coming soon, such as, 5 a side soccer, basketball, netball, dodgeball, floor ball, paddle from grassroots through to elite.
We are now on the look-out for an enthusiastic Venue Manager with a focus to increase participation based in Brisbane to work across our sports centres in Acacia Ridge and Carina. As the Venue Manager, you will be instrumental in creating and achieving the long-term vision of increased sport participation. Your involvement with this role will help current & next generation participate in more sports in Brisbane, Queensland, and Australia.
As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for:
Receiving and actioning all customer enquiries through mediums such as phone, website, email, and social media. Booking management is via Square & Opensports platforms.
Business development in the form of creating, recruiting and maintaining players, teams, leagues, tournaments & programs across our sports both Junior and Adult, community & elite levels.
Add to the business plan in conjunction with Super Sports, including program creation, media distribution, budgeting and cost estimation.
Administration tasks such as record keeping, staff management incl training & rostering, creating league draws (Sportstg, Dribl, Squadi), customer communication, bookings and allocations, maintaining SOP documents, ordering of canteen stock, apparel and merchandise for shop
Creation of marketing and advertising material (Canva), maintenance of business social media outlets, including and not limited to, official website, Instagram pages, Facebook pages, and Email direct marketing (EDM) via Mailchimp.
Light maintenance tasks ensuring the venue is in the best possible condition.
Problem solving ability on the spot, dealing with customer concerns and staff.
Contact person for external contractors incl cleaning and maintenance etc

Essential Requirements
First Aid Certificate

Drivers Licence
Physically fit capable lifting boxes, goals, pulling nets etc
RSA - Responsible Service of Alcohol
Advantage to anyone with experience with square up platform
