THE ROLE
YMCA SA Glengowrie Gymnastics and O'Sullivan Beach Gymnastics offers recreational and competitive gymnastics programs for all ages, from toddlers in KinderGym through to adult recreational classes. We're committed to providing a safe, fun, and inclusive space where members develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement.
As the Customer Care and Administration Director, you will lead all frontline and administration services at Glengowrie Gymnastics and O'Sullivan Beach Gymnastics Centre, with occasional support across other YMCA SA Gymnastics centres. This is a leadership role that sits within the centre's management team, combining direct customer service with people management, operational oversight, and system administration.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the administration team, including recruitment, rostering, performance development, and succession planning

Deliver and oversee exceptional front-desk service to members and families, including direct shift responsibilities

Manage membership administration: new enrolments and direct debit processes

Maintain the Perfect Gym membership system and coordinate Gymnastics SA registrations

Manage the Point of Sale system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Oversee end-of-day banking processes and investigate any variances

Coordinate birthday party programs and provide oversight to the centres' merchandise and product range
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have:

RRHAN-EC Masterclass – Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care (or willing to obtain)

(HLTAID0011) Provide First Aid or equivalent (or willing to obtain)

(HLTAID009) Provide CPR or equivalent (or willing to obtain)

Minimum 2 years' experience within the recreation industry, or equivalent

Excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed communication skills
