Reporting to the Swim School Manager, the Swim School Coodinator will be an experienced leader and demonstrate the highest levels of skill and prefessionalism in coaching, teaching and supervising - acting as mentor and leader within the swim school.
The Coordinator will drive and deliver outstanding customer service and teaching in accordance with established programs and processes and ensure quality standards are maintained.
The Coordinator will have day to day responsibility for managing scheduling, training, staff management and delivery of the afternoon swim school program across School Age Learn to Swim through to Squad programs. Experience in a people management role with relevant qualifications in competitive coaching (stroke correction and development) will be highly regarded.
Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and with flexibility, solve problems and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
The role requires an individual with energy and enthusiasm and a passion for working with children and managing a diverse group of teachers.
Candidates must hold an AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (or equivalent). AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infants and Pre-school Aquatics, Teacher of Competitive Strokes and / or any other AUSTSWIM extension qualifications will be highly advantageous.
