Description

Job No: BC3606

Serve with purpose. Grow through community.

Help new visitors feel comfortable at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope and get started with their fitness journey. As a Lifestyle Advisor, you support residents to use the centre with confidence and get value from its programs and facilities.

You greet visitors, answer membership enquiries and guide people through their options. This includes giving centre tours, explaining class timetables, and outlining the benefits of regular exercise and membership programs. You follow up enquiries by phone and email, confirm appointments, and keep customer records accurate and up to date.

You also contribute to membership growth by promoting programs, preparing welcome packs and supporting sales activities. During your shift, you keep your workspace organised, maintain professional standards, and work closely with your team to deliver a safe and well run environment.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly and takes pride in consistent service. Your work helps residents feel welcome, informed and motivated to improve their health and wellbeing.

At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams – and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:

  • a casual role with one of Australia's largest councils
  • an entry level salary commencing at $31.5079 per hour, plus 25% casual loading
  • trainee rates apply for applicants under 19 years of age
  • penalty rates apply for weekend shifts
  • casual working hours
  • 12% superannuation
  • ongoing training and development support
  • access to Fitness Passport, social clubs and wellbeing programs.
