About Us

Tasmania JackJumpers are one of ten basketball clubs that form the National Basketball League (NBL) competition. Since launching in 2021, our strong cultural foundations and passionate fan base have led to unprecedented success on and off the court. In everything the JackJumpers do, we represent the state of Tasmania with pride. On the court, in the stands and in the community.

Tasmania Jewels are the newest addition to the WNBL, proudly becoming the league's first expansion licence and ninth team. Built on Tasmania's hallmark qualities of resilience, unity and heart, the Jewels reflect the spirit of the island both on and off the court. The Role

You are the connective tissue between the athletes, the coaching staff and the operations team, and when you are doing this well, nobody notices the machinery.

• Set and run the daily training environment, courts, equipment and nutrition ready before the team arrives
• Plan and manage every away trip end to end, from flights to game day logistics
• Deliver change rooms and game day environments, home and away, ready before anyone asks
• Own player records, budgets, rosters and schedules so nothing holds up a booking
• Build the systems and structures this new program will run on for years to come
• Keep the Head Coach connected to how the group is travelling, day to day

Who We're Looking For

You are the person who thinks two steps ahead and never makes a thing of it.

• Confident across Microsoft Office and building new systems
• Proactive with suppliers and partners, before problems arise
• Comfortable working at pace across many moving parts
• Flexible for nights and weekends across the season
• Driver's licence and eligible for a WWVP check

And the non-negotiables - you notice what others miss, you bring calm to chaos, and you would rather build the system than wait for someone else to build it for you.
