You’ll play a practical and meaningful part in supporting netball associations, leagues and clubs across Victoria by helping to reduce administrative burden, strengthen systems capability and improve operational efficiency.

Based in Parkville, Melbourne, this role requires some onsite attendance as part of Netball Victoria’s hybrid working arrangements. While the position is full-time, some flexibility or alternative working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Shared Services, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery, governance, financial management and performance of the Netball Victoria Administration Program, ensuring all funding requirements, reporting obligations and outcomes are achieved. You'll also oversee the operational and financial management of Netball Assist, helping deliver high-quality administration support services to netball organisations across Victoria.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Leading the delivery of the Netball Victoria Administration Program and associated funded initiatives.
  • Managing program budgets, forecasting, reporting and financial performance.
  • Overseeing governance, compliance, acquittals and stakeholder reporting.
  • Managing and supporting the Shared Services Project Coordinator and Netball Assist workforce.
  • Leading the operational delivery of the Netball Assist service, including workforce allocation, service agreements, quoting, invoicing and customer experience.
  • Building strong relationships with associations, leagues, clubs and key stakeholders across the Victorian netball community.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of scalable, sustainable and high-quality shared services across the sport.

 What you will bring:

  • Project management, business or sport management qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Minimum 2-years' experience managing projects, programs or service delivery functions attached to funding/grants.
  • Proven experience leading people and coordinating workforce delivery.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting and reporting capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • An ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Experience working within sport, not-for-profit, community or member-based organisations is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

What we offer:
