The role
The Site Supervisor Leisure, Wellness & Aquatics Customer Experience provides day-to-day guidance and supervision to the Leisure & Aquatic Customer Experience Team while supporting the Leisure & Aquatic Services Leadership Team.
This role will work across our Leisure & Aquatic Services centres according to operational requirements, including Canterbury Leisure & Aquatic Centre, Birrong Leisure & Aquatic Centre, Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centre and Roselands Leisure & Aquatic Centre.
Leading by example at a site level, you will support the Team Leader to deliver a high-quality customer experience aligned with our Customer Service Charter.
You will also undertake operational shifts to support frontline service delivery, along with supervisory, administrative and operational duties that contribute to the effective operation of the broader team.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing day-to-day supervision and scheduling support for frontline Customer Experience staff.
- Supporting the induction, training and ongoing development of new and existing team members.
- Ensuring policies, procedures and systems are applied consistently at site level.
- Monitoring customer interactions, resolving routine issues and escalating complex matters when required.
- Collecting and communicating staff and customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Monitoring team performance against key performance indicators.
- Supporting marketing, lead-generation and digital-adoption initiatives.

You will have:
- A current CPR Certificate.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A current Class C Driver Licence.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a customer-facing role within a customer experience team.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and support leaders with performance management.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to adapt to new systems while delivering responsive customer service.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $80,351 per annum (Grade E, Step 1), plus 12% superannuation. The salary may be negotiable depending on the successful applicant’s skills and experience.
