About the Role
Bankstown Football is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Judiciary & Governance Officer to provide independent administration of the Association's disciplinary, governance and compliance functions.
Working closely with the General Manager and key football stakeholders, the successful candidate will coordinate judiciary processes, maintain governance and compliance records, support club affiliation requirements and ensure disciplinary matters are administered fairly, efficiently and in accordance with Association regulations.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in governance, compliance, tribunal administration, sport administration, legal administration or regulatory environments who is looking for flexible part-time work within community sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate disciplinary and judiciary processes, including red cards, GPT hearings and appeals.
- Prepare and distribute disciplinary notices and tribunal documentation.
- Maintain suspension, sentence and disciplinary registers.
- Support competition integrity requirements, including eligibility and suspension checks.
- Manage annual club compliance and affiliation documentation.
- Maintain governance, policy and compliance records.
- Monitor Working With Children Check compliance obligations.
- Prepare governance and compliance reports.
- Maintain confidential records and support Board governance requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent written communication and record-keeping abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience in governance, compliance, legal administration or tribunal administration.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Knowledge of community sport governance is desirable but not essential.
