This exciting role has primary responsibility for the coordination and operational leadership of several sporting programs. Working closely with students, coaches, staff and families, the Sports Coordinator will help deliver high-quality sporting experiences and foster a culture of participation, performance and personal growth.

The Role

As a Sports Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic development of three to four sporting programs. You will work collaboratively with coaches, students, staff and families to ensure programs are well organised, engaging and aligned with the School's commitment to excellence in girls' education and sport.

You will work 5 days per week (38 hours per week) during school term time + 5 additional weeks per year across the school holidays (43 weeks per year).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the delivery and development of allocated sports across Prep to Year 12.
  • Coordinating fixtures, competitions and sporting events across school and club sports.
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, coaches, sporting associations and the wider school community.
  • Supporting coach recruitment, development and compliance requirements.
  • Managing team selections, athlete pathways and talent identification opportunities.
  • Ensuring the effective management of sporting equipment, facilities and venue bookings.
  • Contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across the Sport Department.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in sport administration, coordination, coaching or program management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative and service-oriented approach.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to thrive through sport.
  • Current Paid Blue Card.
