We are seeking reliable, proactive, and safety-focused Pool Lifeguards to join our dedicated teams at our Seven Hills (8-lane 25m training pool & warm program pool) and Denistone East (warm 25m indoor program pool) facilities.
As a Lifeguard at the Aquatic Academy, you are the front line of safety. You will ensure a safe swimming environment for our Learn to Swim participants, squad swimmers, lap swimmers, and school groups, while delivering exceptional customer service to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain proactive supervision and scanning of all pool areas, program spaces, and concourses.
Enforce pool safety rules and guidelines politely and assertively.
Prevent incidents through early intervention and hazard identification.
Perform rescues and provide First Aid or CPR promptly and effectively when required.
Ensure water quality and facility safety standards are met (including routine pool testing and plant room checks where required).
Assist with setup and pack-down of equipment for Learn to Swim, Aqua Play, and Squad sessions.
Maintain clean, hygienic, and welcoming pool decks, change rooms, and surrounding spaces.
