Sydney Rowing Club are now welcoming expressions of interest for the position of Assistant Junior Coach. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to help shape our club juniors into “athletes for life”. The successful applicant will work alongside our Junior & Talent ID Manager, Paddy Graham, to help manage our development athletes as they make their way up through the Sydney Rowing Club Pathway. This paid position consists of a couple of weekday sessions, either early morning or late afternoon around school days, as well as committing to Saturday morning training hours, weekend regattas and holiday learn to row camps. We would also consider two individuals, if one cannot commit to each requirement as outlined; for example can do the regular weekly schedule around existing commitments, but may not be able to run the holiday camps; or vice versa.
The successful applicant will help provide opportunities to talented junior athletes who do not have access to rowing through a traditional school system.
