Expression of Interest to join Sport Integrity Australia's Athlete Advisory Group 

Expressions of interest are now open to join Sport Integrity Australia’s (SIA) Athlete Advisory Group (AAG).  At SIA, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of fairness and integrity and the AAG’s role, in providing feedback and guidance, is essential to achieving this goal. The group’s contributions help us to maintain a sporting environment where fairness and safety is paramount. The AAG is made up of athletes who understand first hand the complex environment and pressures of sport. These athletes bring their experiences and perspectives to the table, ensuring that the policies and operations of Sport Integrity Australia are informed by those who are directly impacted. 

Take your opportunity to represent the views of Australian athletes by joining SIA's AAG. The role is open to current and former athletes, and is an opportunity to provide insights and guidance on the unique challenges you face. Eligibility selection criteria  

• must be over the age of 18   
• be a current or former senior international or senior national level athlete (i.e. have competed at the highest level of your sport in Australia at a minimum)
• demonstrate leadership skills and advocacy for the wider athlete cohort  
• have experience or knowledge of integrity challenges in sport such as anti-doping, competition manipulation and sports gambling, illicit drugs, member protection and safeguarding.
