Aqua Culture Swim MacPark is seeking an experienced and passionate Programs Manager to lead the administration, delivery, and ongoing development of our swim programs. This is a full-time leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced aquatic environment and is committed to high-quality teaching, coaching, and team development.
About the Role
The Programs Manager is responsible for the overall operation of all Aqua Culture Swim programs, including Learn to Swim, Development, and Inclusive Swimming programs. You will lead and support Supervisors, Development Coaches, and Casual Swimming Teachers and Coaches, ensuring programs are delivered in line with Aqua Culture Swim levels, outcomes, and operating procedures.
This role is hands-on, combining program management, staff leadership, teaching oversight, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, operation, and delivery of all Aqua Culture Swim Mac Park programs
- Lead, manage, train, and mentor Supervisors, Swimming Teachers, and Coaches
- Ensure programs are delivered in accordance with Aqua Culture Swim Mac Park operating procedures
- Conduct assessments and reviews of Learn to Swim, Development, and Inclusive program participants
- Support program growth, participation, and retention
- Manage program administration using iClassPro and Tanda, including:
- Assessments of existing swimmers
- Staff qualifications, rosters, payroll, training, and development
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and expansion of Aqua Culture Swim Mac Park programs

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes
- Proven experience in swim school or aquatic program administration
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and swim school management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with parents, swimmers and staff
- Demonstrated ability to teach and coach swimmers across a range of levels
- Strong knowledge of swimming instruction and skill progression
- Experience creating effective lesson plans for Learn to Swim and Development programs
- Staff supervision, training, and mentoring experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Passion for health, wellness, and aquatic education
Mandatory Qualifications
- Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
- Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics Certificate (or equivalent)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Valid Working With Children Check

- Split shifts (morning and afternoon) may be required
- Weekend work is an expectation of this role
