The Senior Representative Manager is responsible for the administration and coordination of up to six senior representative teams competing within Basketball Queensland and NBL1 competitions.
Working closely with coaches, athletes, team staff, volunteers, sponsors, Basketball Queensland, NBL1 North and Association leadership, the Senior Representative Manager ensures the successful delivery of all senior representative programs from coach recruitment and annual planning through to season completion and program review.
The role incorporates responsibility for:
- Representative program planning and delivery
- Coach recruitment and appointment processes
- Budget preparation and financial monitoring
- Sponsorship administration and fulfilment
- Registration, compliance and eligibility management
- Draw mediation and scheduling coordination
- Workforce and volunteer management
- Home game operations and event delivery
- Livestream, statistics and game presentation coordination

Working Conditions
The Senior Representative Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a key role in ensuring Ipswich Basketball Association delivers a professional, sustainable and high-performing representative program.
This is a part-time position, with an expected workload of 15-25+ hours per week. There is scope for a full-time appointment for the right candidate, with the role tailored to align with their skills, experience, and the needs of the organisation.
This position operates on a flexible annual workload model. While workload varies throughout the year, evening and weekend work is required throughout the representative season, with increased hours expected during coach/player recruitment, preseason preparation, competition periods, finals campaigns and home game events.

- January-March: Pre-season preparation and administration
- April-July: Competition season operations and delivery
- July-August: Finals and season review
