The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the delivery of safe, productive, innovative and exceptional swimming lessons. Swim Teachers will continuously display their ability to communicate and engage effectively with students ensuring students of all abilities, ages and cultural needs receive an outstanding program. They will engage with all students and parents regularly to maximise member retention opportunities.

Demonstrated skills in managing time, and setting priorities
Demonstrated ability to create and deliver lesson plans independently
Ability to work in a team and contribute to fostering a connected, innovative, accountable and caring culture
Ability to commit to an agreed schedule of shifts
Previous experience and success (Minimum 1 Year) in a comparable role.
The ability to inspire, build confidence and motivate swimmers
Duties at this level include:
Create a fun, welcoming and safe environment for the students.
Implement lesson plans combining stroke development with water safety.
Professional, punctual and well- organised with responsibility for the delivering high-quality lessons in accordance with the Swim and Survive curriculum.
Ensure that teaching equipment and aids are assembled in a neat, tidy and safe fashion.
Work closely with Swim School management on assessment of students.
