THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Head of Events & Venue Operations, you’ll play a key role in creating and delivering memorable experiences for our Members, fans, partners, players and broader Sea Eagles community.
You’ll be at the heart of our NRL home game day experience, helping shape everything from fan engagement and entertainment to sports presentation, activations, themed rounds and special moments that make coming to 4 Pines Park more than just watching a game.
But this role isn't just about game day. You’ll also be involved in delivering a range of Club events, activations and experiences throughout the year, working collaboratively across the organisation to bring ideas to life.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Lead the planning and delivery of NRL home game day experiences, creating an exciting, engaging and memorable environment for our Members and fans.
- Develop and deliver creative fan engagement, entertainment and experiential concepts that bring the Sea Eagles brand to life.
- Coordinate Club events, activations, themed rounds, Member experiences and other special events across the season.
- Work closely with Marketing, Consumer, Commercial, Community, Football, Digital, Media and other teams to bring integrated events and experiences to life.
- Collaborate with Corporate Partners to deliver engaging activations and match day experiences that achieve both partner and Club objectives.
- Coordinate fan precincts, entertainment, activities and other elements of the overall game day experience.
- Work with internal and external production partners to deliver sports presentation, entertainment and live event requirements.
- Manage event timelines, run sheets, suppliers, contractors, budgets, logistics and operational requirements to ensure everything comes together seamlessly.
- Identify opportunities to continually innovate and enhance the Member and fan experience.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of new event concepts and experiences that help differentiate the Sea Eagles.
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers, agencies, venues, councils, NRL stakeholders and other event partners.
- Be hands-on on event days from the big picture to the smallest detail and be prepared to jump in wherever needed to make the event a success.
- Manage event risk, compliance, approvals and relevant operational requirements.
- Bring energy, creativity and a 'let's make it happen' attitude to everything you do.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is more than just an event organiser. You’re a natural event creator someone who sees an empty space and immediately starts thinking about how to bring it to life.
You’re comfortable taking an idea from a conversation, turning it into a concept, building a plan and then making it happen in front of thousands of people.
You will ideally have:
- 4-5+ years' experience delivering live events, sporting events, entertainment, experiential activations or similar.
- A tertiary qualification in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing or a related discipline is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience delivering game day, live event or large-scale experiential experiences.
- Strong creative thinking and an ability to develop ideas that enhance the overall customer and fan experience.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and collaborating with different departments to deliver integrated events.
- Exceptional organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- The confidence to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where things can change quickly.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to think on your feet.
- Experience managing suppliers, contractors, production partners and external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of event risk management, safety, approvals and operational requirements.
- Experience with live-site activations, event production, broadcast/sports presentation and/or local government processes would be highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for sport, entertainment, events and creating great experiences.

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, curious, collaborative and willing to get stuck in. Someone who can move comfortably between a creative brainstorm, a stakeholder meeting, an event site and the middle of a busy game day.
You’ll need to be comfortable working weekends and outside standard office hours, particularly around NRL home games and major Club events. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to play a genuine role in shaping the experience of thousands of Sea Eagles Members and fans.
