About the role
Jungle Sports is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Coach to join our team and lead our Jungle Sports and NEXT Athletics children's program. This part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) will see you working at venues throughout Perth, WA.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions for children and young people to develop their fundamental movement skills and sport-specific skills
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Monitoring and evaluating participant progress, providing feedback and adjusting programs as needed
- Collaborating with the broader Jungle Sports team to continuously improve the Jungle Sports Kids program
- Promoting the Jungle Sports brand and programs to the local community
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience in coaching children and young people, with a strong understanding of child development and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants of all ages and abilities
- A passion for sports, health, and fitness, and a commitment to supporting the development of children and young people
- Relevant sports coaching qualifications and/or certifications
- Current first aid and working with children certification

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
