The Aquatic Programs Officer, School and Aquatic Bookings is a Part-Time position of 30 hours a week, will focus primarily on managing school-related aquatic bookings. This includes scheduling, invoicing, and ensuring accurate entry of all bookings into PerfectGym. The officer will also be responsible for ensuring there’s adequate coverage for school shifts. Additionally, this role will provide Aquatic Services Officer (ASO) support for school bookings at either centre, based on demand. The officer will also assist with facility hire when required and continue to monitor and address LTS enquiries.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for schools during initial enquiries and manage all pre-program administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and issue quotes and invoices to schools in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage staff coverage for school programs to ensure adequate coverage and support.
  • Maintain comprehensive awareness of schools, clubs, and other hire groups that have allocated pool space at the venue.
  • Manage all aspects of school aquatic bookings, including scheduling, invoicing, and record keeping.
  • Provide direct service delivery as an Aquatic Services Officer (ASO) during school aquatic programs where required.
  • Offer support to teachers and ASOs to maintain program quality and consistency.
  • Provide front-line customer service to families and participants, handling queries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Respond to enquiries from prospective or current trainees in a timely and informative manner.
  • Assist with facility hire bookings and related administrative tasks as required to support overall venue operations.
