Description

The Australian Sports Commission is embarking on the Green and Gold decade. An exciting time filled with international sporting competitions on home soil, including the Men’s and Women’s Rugby World Cup, and culminating in the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We have an ambitious new Strategic Vision and we need the best players on our team to help us deliver real results for the sporting sector and all Australians.

You'll lead strategy, design impactful initiatives and collaborate with internal teams and sector to create lasting change. Your work will inform policy, guide inclusive practices and strengthen pathways for women. About you -

  • Experience working in gender equality, inclusion, or social change - ideally in sport, policy, or government
  • Ability to use data and evidence to guide decisions and track progress
  • Confidence in identifying barriers and helping shape practical solutions
  • Confident communicator and relationship-builder across sectors
  • Skills in preparing strategic advice and reports for senior leaders

This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 30th June 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
