Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, located in The Hills Shire Council area, is looking for an experienced Permanent Part Time Aquatic Programs Assistant to join our team. The complex includes a 10-lane 50m outdoor Olympic-sized pool, additional 25m outdoor pool and two indoor learn to swim and leisure pools, along with a water play area, and a fully equipped fitness centre. What does this role look like:
- Assist in coordinating swim school bookings and customer enquiries for aquatic programs.
- Supervise on pool deck and ensure smooth delivery of all lessons being conducted on shift.
- Instruct swimming lessons and coach swimming.
- Carry out all legitimate requests for assistance from the Aquatic Programs Officer.
- Assist with direct debit enrolment processing for the swim school
What are we seeking:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Austswim Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety Certificate
- First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Working with children check.
