The role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor Leisure & Aquatic Operations to provide on-site leadership at Roselands Leisure and Aquatic Centre.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide and support employees, coordinate daily centre operations, and ensure the delivery of safe, welcoming and high-quality experiences for our community. You will work closely with the Leisure & Aquatic Services Leadership Team to maintain operational, safety and customer service standards.
As part of your weekly roster, you will undertake a minimum of two Duty Manager shifts, with the remainder of your time focused on supervisory, administrative and operational responsibilities.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and supporting employees across daily centre operations.
- Undertaking a minimum of two Duty Manager shifts per week.
- Ensuring compliance with operational procedures, WHS requirements and industry standards.
- Overseeing emergency responses, incident reporting and risk management.
- Monitoring facility presentation, maintenance, water quality and plant operations.
- Managing bookings, facility hire and relationships with centre users.
- Supporting budgets, administration and continuous service improvement.
- Delivering a safe, welcoming and high-quality customer experience.

You will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading employees in a large leisure and aquatic centre or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of pool supervision, plant operations, water quality and risk management.
- Experience coordinating facility operations, maintenance, bookings and customer service.
- The ability to manage employee performance and resolve operational issues.
- Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- Sound administrative, computer and reporting capabilities.
Essential qualifications
- Current Pool Lifeguard Licence and Certificate.
- Technical Operations Certificate issued by Royal Life Saving Society Australia or TAFE NSW.
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check.
Desirable qualifications include a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification, relevant tertiary qualifications, and experience delivering CPR and resuscitation training.
The salary for this opportunity starts from $86,010 (Grade F, Step 1), plus superannuation and applicable allowances.
