We are seeking a dedicated Competition and Schools Support Officer to join our dynamic team at Water Polo WA. This part-time role will be based in our Perth office and is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to our competition and school-based competitions and events.
What you'll be doing
Coordinating and managing competition logistics, including team registrations, pool allocations, and results reporting and other key duties
Assisting with the organisation and delivery of Water Polo competitions and events in WA metro and regional/remote schools
Supporting Sporting Schools funding applications.
Providing customer service and support to competition participants, school partners, and other stakeholders
Maintaining accurate records and databases related to competitions and school engagement
Supporting the broader operations of the organisation as required
What we're looking for
Excellent administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Familiarity with sports administration and/or experience in an education or community setting
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and database management tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
